The unemployment rate for Clark County held steady at 3.7% in September, according to the September 2021 Preliminary Unemployment Rates report, released this week by the Kentucky Education and Workforce Development Cabinet.
The statewide rate dropped two-tenths of a percent, from 3.9% to 3.7%.
Among neighboring counties, Mongomery had the highest rate in September at 4.5%, while Fayette’s 3.3% was the lowest. Bourbon and Madison were slightly below Clark, both at 3.5%.
