Turn back the clock and tune in your radio for some old-fashioned holiday fun! Last-Minute Gifts is a collection of original holiday stories by five Kentucky writers, including Silas House, Bo List, Vivian Snipes, Frank X Walker, and Caitlyn Waltermire.

Winchester native Mark Mozingo performs in one of five short radio plays that will air at 8 p.m. Monday and at 6 p.m. on Christmas Day on WUKY 91.3 FM (or streaming at WUKY.org). The program is produced by Lexington’s AthensWest Theatre company and University of Kentucky Public Radio.

The uniting theme of the programs celebrates Kentucky’s diversity. The Athens West website says, “December is a season when many people come together to celebrate thanks and giving, regardless of faith, background, and belief. Last-Minute Gifts will bring us together to show us the many ways our similarities outweigh our differences — especially during the holidays.”
