Here’s a sneak preview of new content we have lined up for you this coming week.

Your Monday motivation from Erin Skinner Smith is all about staying connected with nature. Also on Monday, Wes Moody drops a gorgeous new photo.

On Tuesday (and again on Friday), we have the latest installments of the Michael Tate Chronicles, written by Chuck Witt. For the uninitiated, you can pick up the story of the fictional assassin from right here in Winchester by starting here.

On Wednesday, we try an experimental feature that may or may not be continued, depending on reader reaction. We call it “Give and Take,” in which two writers take sides on an issue. The initial piece is authored by Pete Koutoulas and Chuck Witt. Be sure to check it out.

Ron Kibbey has picked yet another winner! Reel Classics makes its bi-weekly appearance on Thursday, with a review of the classic film noir, Laura.

Friday starts off the way Fridays always do around here, with another episode of Jeff Brandt’s popular music feature, “Jeff’s Playlist,” and continues with the aforementioned Michael Tate piece. Also, don’t forget that our free weekly newsletter drops on Fridays — if you aren’t a subscriber, why not sign up now?

On Saturday, we’ll run down the busy schedule of events coming up in September at Legacy Grove, as well as the somewhat-regular weekly opinion piece “Five Things.”

That’s all we have lined up for now, but you never know when we might sneak something else in, so be sure to keep visiting and follow us on Facebook and Twitter. And be sure to check out the morning radio show of 2022 Winchester Citizen of the Year, Tim Smith!
