There’s some­thing for every­one in September at Winchester’s Legacy Grove Park! The park is locat­ed at 1107 W. Lexington Ave.

Sep. 2: All about forts (11 a.m. to noon)

An inter­ac­tive kids pro­gram geared towards 3–12 year olds to play and discover!

Sep. 10: Nature trail walk & volunteer day (9 a.m. to noon)

Join us at 9 a.m. on the nature trail to explore what’s bloom­ing. Afterward, we will work on projects to improve the park.

Sep. 13: Legacy Nights concert series (5 to 8 p.m.)

A night of music, food trucks, and kid booths. Live music includes Rags and Riches with Brett Higgens and Donnie Bowling. The music starts at 5:30 p.m.

Sep. 16: Discovery Days (11 a.m. to noon)

Free play — hide & seek. An inter­ac­tive kids pro­gram geared towards 3–12 year olds to play and dis­cov­er the outdoors.

Sep. 22: Walker/runner appreciation day ( 8 to 9:30 a.m.)

Join us for a morn­ing cel­e­brat­ing our walk­ers and run­ners. Donuts and cof­fee will be served at 8 a.m.

Sep. 28: Drum circle 6 to 8 p.m.

All ages and expe­ri­ence lev­els are wel­come. Bring a drum and a chair; there will be extra drums available.
