Flat Lick Falls in Gray Hawk, Jackson County, was looking lovely after some recent rain. This is waterfall season in Kentucky and now, during the spring rainy season, is a good time to get out and visit a few. Many of Kentucky’s waterfalls become just a trickle during the summer and fall.

While some can only be accessed by hiking on a trail or have no developed trail to them, this one is easy for almost anyone to get to. Jackson County has developed a park here with a short paved trail from the parking lot to an overlook of the falls, making it wheelchair accessible.
