Album cover: Mar Y Sol

Mar Y Sol (The First International Puerto Rico Pop Festival) — Various Artists

My older brother had this album and it served to introduce me to a bunch of artists that I probably wouldn’t have heard until much later. The album was recorded and released in 1972. I was a sophomore in high school and eager to hear new music. It’s a fabulous Festival/Concert album featuring some very popular artists of the day. Many are still around and recording now.
