Album cover: Jonny Jenkins Ton-Ton Macoute!

I first heard about this album from the liner notes of Duane Allman an Anthology, a recording I’ve enjoyed for many years. Specifically, I liked the featured songs “I Walk on Gilded Splinters” (written by Dr. John) and “Down Along the Cove” (written by Bob Dylan). Four members of the Allman Brothers Band, including Duane, appear as studio musicians along with many others. I have always liked this album, and I think you might too.
